–McCartney’s son hopes to start Beatles offspring band–

Could Beatlemania see a revival through the offspring of the Fab Four?

James McCartney, son of Beatles singer Paul McCartney, said a new generation of The Beatles could be on the horizon, in an interview with the BBC published on its website April 2.

The 34-year-old musician, who is following his father’s footsteps into the industry, said that forming a band with fellow Beatles children Sean Lennon (son of John Lennon), Dhani Harrison (son of George Harrison) and Zak and Jason Starkey (Ringo Starr’s sons) was not out of the question.

"I don’t think it’s something that Zak wants to do. Maybe Jason would want to do it. I’d be up for it. Sean seemed to be into it. Dhani seemed to be into it. I’d be happy to do it," said McCartney.

Asked if the band realistically could happen, the singer added: "Yeah, hopefully, naturally. I don’t know, you’d have to wait and see. The will of God, nature’s support, I guess. So yeah, maybe."

The Beatles, who hailed from Liverpool, England, became one of the best-selling bands in the world in the 1960s.

業界へ父の跡を継ぐ34歳のミュージシャンは、ビートルズ子孫仲間、ショーン・レノン（ジョン・レノンの息子）、ダーニ・ハリソン（ジョージ・ハリソンの息子）、そしてザックとジェーソン・スターキー（リンゴ・スターの息子たち）とバンドを組むことは不可能ではないと述べた。

「ザックがしたいことではないと思います。ジェーソンはしたいと思います。僕も乗り気です。ショーンも関心を持っているようだったし、ダーニも関心を持っているようだった。僕はできればと嬉しいと思います。」 とマッカートニーは述べた。

— Transgender Canadian gets OK to compete in pageant–

A transgender woman got her wish to compete for title of hottest woman on the planet after Donalt Trump said she could compete for Canada’s spot in the Miss Universe pageant.

Trump, the American business mogul who runs the Miss Universe Organization, issued a statement April 3 wishing Jenna Talackova "the best of luck in her quest for the crown." The statement came the same day that Talackova urged the organization to clarify its gender requirements.

The organization said it actually made the decision the day before to let the 23-year-old Talackova compete in the 2012 competition to become Canada’s contestant.

The organization said Talackova could enter the pageant "provided she meets the legal gender recognition requirements of Canada, and the standards established by other international competitions." No further details were provided.

Talackova, a Vancouver resident, underwent a sex change four years ago after being born a male.

Her sex change initially led organizers in Canada to disqualify her from the 61st Miss Universe Canada pageant in May, citing a rule that she must be "naturally born" a woman. She was kicked out of the competition on March 30, after being selected as one of the 65 finalists.

"I am a woman," Talackova said on April 3. "I was devastated, and I felt that excluding me for the reason that they gave was unjust."

I have three items on my agenda: First, the Japan market, second, key success factors, and finally, marketing that will utilize tv ads
   
John: I’m not sure that is the way to go. I see your point on the first two but how will tv ads offer us the ROI we are shooting for?
   
Tanaka: That’s a good point. In my presentation, I will justify and outline the factors that will show the reason tv ads deserve adequate allocation of our budget.
   
John: OK, go ahead but you will need to be certain you get your idea across of how it will pay off.
   
Tanaka: Let me show you why it will. As I was about to say, the Japan market has one important aspect which differentiates it from America – fragmentation. We need to target key market segments with ads at differing times.
   
John: What are you getting at? I still don’t follow.
   
Tanaka: I want show the investors we need to show relevent ads to target better. As our venture is producing products that vary widely, we need to target our household goods ads with women during the afternoon shows and other ads during skit shows in the evening.
   
John: Why don’t you focus more on Internet based advertising?
   
Tanaka: The reason is that most of our products are perfectly tailored for women. We do not need to blanket the air at all times thereby reducing our ad expense.

In English, there are some special verbs that is usually followed by a another verb. In these situations, it is more common to use the "-ing" form of the verb if it immediately follows it.
